Project Hamlet

6 contenders for the single most enjoyable note ever written to a neighbor.

The seventh (and MUCH more enjoyable) note could have come from a very nice lady who today mentioned during a conversation that she had just found her box of Christmas ornaments stolen from her basement storage room ... and put up a notice on her building's blackboard, wishing the thief joy of her belongings, and asking to please have them returned after Christmas as they meant a lot to her due to all the memories attached to those ornaments!  (True story ...)
